My Languages

Although I was born in Vietnam but I spent my childhood and teenage years in the Philippines and Australia. I have learnt my mother language mainly through books and media.

When I was at high school I developed a passion for Chinese language and started to learn about it sparingly. Until I got to 3rd year at The University of Sydney, I was then actually attended Chinese class. I then continued with my Chinese after graduation at TAFE NSW, unfortunately, I could not finish Certificate 3 due to my work schedule.

Recently, I also developed a likeness for Japanese because I love watching Japanese anime. Although, a lot of kanji borrowed Chinese characters and have similar meanings, however, the pronounciation is quite different.

In my languages blog, I will present the materials to help you learn about the Chinese language as well as Japanese. There will also be links on where you can find them.

Hope you find these materials useful.
